b. Tenant Farm: A farm in which the entire land is taken from other
household(s) against a fixed rent in cash or kind or a share in the
produce or against any other terms and conditions.
c. owner- cum-Tenant Farm: A farm in which a part of the land area
is owned by the operator household and the remaining is taken from
other household(s) against rent or share of the produce or any other
terms and conditions.
44. Land Use Intensity represents the cultivated area measured in terms of
total culturable area multiplied by 100, i.e.

Total Culturable Area
It indicates the extent to which the culturable land was used for cultivation
of crops.
45. Land Utilization means classification of the farm area in accordance with
its use as under:

46. Livestock Holder is a household havrng ar least one nead or catile and I
or buffalo, 5 sheep and / or goats but not operating any farm area.
47. Mixed Grops / lnter-planted crops means sowing more than one crop in
one field at the same time. In the same field, one crop planted between
rows of another crop is'referred to as inter-planted crops while more than
one (often many) crops grown unsystematically are called mixed crops.
