at Tehsil/ district headquarters for selection of households for detailed interviews.
                   After getting identification  of selected  households  by the CMT, the enumerators
                          -weni
                    again        to the concerned areas to collect information through  face-to-face
                    in'ierviews  with the heads of households.  This information  was recorded  on Form-2
                    (households operating  agricultural land) or Form-3 (households not operating
                    agricultural  land).

                    In unsettled areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  & Punjab  provinces, the whole of
                    Balochistan province,Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu &Kashmir, where a single-
                    stage sample design was adopted, listing (filling of Form-1) and enumeration  work
                    (filli-ng of Form-2 i Form-3) was done side-by-side, because all the households in
                    selected Mouzas/ villages /Killies / Basties were enumerated. However, in all the
                    selected urban blocks located anywhere in the couniry,  every fifth household  was
                    enumerated  in addition to all the households having land or livestock.

                    The requisite informaiion  in the questionnaire for census purposes was collected
                    through direct interview with the head of the selected household or, in case of his
                    absence, with a very close associate of the head of the selected  household.

                    During the course of listing and enumetation,  each enumerator  was required to fill-in
                    and riail a pre-addressed  weekly  progress.report card (Form-4) to the Agricultural
                    Census Organization, stating the progress of work and problems, if any, faced  by
                    him. After completion of ali the work in assigned Mouza(s), the enumerator  was
                    required to put all the documents  back in the census kitbag(s)  and deposit the same
                    at Tehsil headquarters.  The documents  were then checked for completeness  and
                    were gathered at the district level from where ihese were despatched  to the
                    Agricul-tural Census Organization,  Lahore by the CMT or district administration.

                    To maintain  reasonable  quality in the census results, a deiailed supervisory  program
                    vuas also planned to supervise the countrywide  census field operations  io be
                    completed within a short span of six to eight weeks. For this purpose,  in addltion to
                    the supervision by CMTs and district managemeni, Mobile Teams  of ACO officers
                    remained in the fiet4 notn during training and census enumeration  periods. Each
                    team was assigned a few contiguous districts for overall supervision. Special
                    emphasis  was glven to the superv'rsion  program for the districts  where difficuities  in
                    ihe census operations were pariicularly anticipated for timely and satisfactory
                    cornpletion.  ln big cities where field staff of ihe FBS lvas used for enumeration'  the
                    supervision was done by their in-charge officers.

                    The number  of provincial  officers / supervisors  and enumerators  who pariicipateci in
                     the Agricultural  Census  2010 is gi'ien below:
